Cardiac Sonographer I - Outpatient Research

The Cardiac Sonographer I performs transthoracic echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound studies for outpatient research and clinical patients. Working onsite in a fast-paced academic medical setting, this role reviews histories and orders, prepares and educates patients, selects and optimizes imaging views, recognizes normal and abnormal cardiac structures, documents and transmits results, and upholds safety, quality control, and equipment care standards while collaborating with the care team.
