FP&A Manager

This is a true business partnering role where you'll lead a growing team and work directly with business unit leaders to help them understand what's driving performance and make better decisions. Rather than simply reporting the numbers, you'll be expected to understand the nuances of each business, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and translate financial results into meaningful commercial insight.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll initially manage two staff with the team expected to continue growing over the next few years. It's a great opportunity to join a highly collaborative finance organization, take on significant ownership from day one, and continue expanding your scope as both the company and team grow.
What you’ll be doing:Lead, coach and develop a team, helping them become stronger commercial partners to their respective business unitsAct as a senior finance partner to business unit leaders, developing a deep understanding of their operations, priorities and key performance driversOwn monthly business reviews across P&L performance, margins, operating expenses, headcount and capital investmentTurn financial results into clear insights around what's happening in the business, why it's happening and what leadership should do nextLead budgeting and forecasting for the business units, partnering directly with operational leaders to build realistic plans and improve forecast accuracyIdentify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions and help leaders evaluate potential courses of actionStandardize and improve reporting across the business units, creating a more consistent view of performance for senior leadershipSupport strategic analysis across areas including pricing, investment decisions, new products and longer-term planningPrepare and present clear, decision-useful analysis to senior finance and business leadership xzbcwsv
What we’re looking for:6+ years of progressive FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering experienceProven people management experience with a track record of developing strong teamsGenuine business partnering experience and the curiosity to understand how a business actually operates, rather than focusing solely on whether the numbers tieExcellent Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong presentation and communication skills with the confidence to work directly with senior non-finance leadersExperience within manufacturing or another product-based business is helpful but not required
