Assistant Professor - Business Analytics

We are hiring Assistant Professor for Business Analytics at our University. Following are the requirements:

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery

· Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the related domain (Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning).

· Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, and course content.

· Conduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.

· Use innovative pedagogy in line with NEP 2020 policy and emerging technology to enhance

· learning experience among students.

2. Student Engagement & Mentorship

· Guide and mentor students in academic and career development.

· Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.

· Provide feedback and support to improve student outcomes.

3. Research & Publications

· Conduct research in commerce or related fields

· Publish research papers in Scopus/ABDC/UGC CARE indexed journals.

· Participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops.

· Apply for research grants and funded projects (if applicable).

4. Curriculum Development

· Contribute to syllabus design and curriculum updates

· Align course content with professional courses, industry trends and academic standards.

· Develop new courses or programs where required.

5. Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities

· Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.

· Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and seminars.

· Support Program Head in overall academic process ‘execution.

· Maintain academic records and documentation.

6. Industry Engagement

· Build connections with industry professionals for guest lectures and internships.

· Support placement activities and career guidance programs.

· Engage in outreach and extension activities.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Education

· MBA in the related domain from a recognized University.

· NET/SET qualification as per UGC norms (where applicable).

· Ph.D. in Management, or the related discipline (Preferred).

· Professional certifications desirable.

Experience

· 0–5 years for entry-level roles (Freshers with NET/Ph.D. may apply).

· Prior teaching or research experience is an advantage.
