Role Description The Storyboard Artist will translate scripts and creative briefs into clear visual sequences that guide the production of VFX-heavy content. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves developing shot-by-shot storyboards, creating scene compositions, and establishing visual continuity for film, TV, ads, and digital projects. The Storyboard Artist will collaborate closely with directors, writers, animators, and VFX supervisors to refine narrative flow, camera angles, and timing. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching key frames, iterating on feedback, preparing presentation-ready boards, and supporting previsualization and animatic development. The role also involves maintaining consistency with the project’s visual style and ensuring storyboards are accurate, detailed, and production-ready.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Storyboarding to visualize scripts, define shot sequences, and support narrative pacing. Candidates should possess skills in Drawing and Concept Art to create clear character poses, environments, and expressive key frames. Candidates should possess skills in Animation, including basic understanding of motion, timing, and visual storytelling principles. Candidates should possess skills in 2 D Animation tools or software commonly used in pre-production and animatics. Strong visual storytelling, composition, and cinematic sense, with attention to detail and continuity. Proficiency in digital drawing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or equivalent) and familiarity with VFX or animation pipelines. Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced studio environment, accept constructive feedback, and meet production deadlines. Relevant education in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, Filmmaking, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
