Account Executive

Account Executives sell LTL and TL transportation services, along with other services including warehousing and storage. They develop relationships built on trust to solicit and acquire new sales, increase sales volume, and maintain existing accounts within an assigned region.

The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.
ResponsibilitiesIncrease sales volume by acquiring new accounts and selling additional services to current customersEstablish professional working relationships with customers, managers, co-workers, and driversProvide weekly sales updates at sales meetingsTravel daily to meet with prospects and/or current customersPerform cold calls and calls by appointmentDetermine customers’ needs by gathering information needed to prepare rate quotesMaintain records of contacts with prospects and current customersComplete sales reporting to include customer profiles, sales reports, itineraries, mileage reports, and expense reportsEntertain customers, as neededMake collection calls for assigned past due accountsComplete applicable paperwork in a manner consistent with established company guidelinesEnsure customer satisfaction through follow-up conversationsUtilize company software for various sales functions
Qualifications
Previous xzbcwsv account management experience - 2+ yearsArticulate and well accustomed to a client facing roleWillingness and ability to travelStrong sales and negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsProven ability to build and maintain client relationshipsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
