Description:

We are now recruiting a VP – Corporate Tax for our Gurgaon office.

Roles G Responsibilities:

·      Lead tax assignments, encompassing direct tax, corporate tax mandates and international tax oversight.

·      Oversee the work of the tax team, ensuring assignments are completed with high quality

and efficiency.

·      Conduct regular reviews of work produced by team members.

·      Lead and support in achieving yearly and monthly PCL target of tax service line.

·      Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures for all tax deliverables.

·      Ensure that all client engagements meet the high standards of accuracy and timeliness.

·      Provide expert opinions and recommendations on complex direct tax matters.

·      Review of submission and details before tax authorities for Assessments and Appeals and appearing before Tax authorities.

·      Advisory on withholding tax applicability and providing opinion on issue of 15CA/CB/Tax clearances in respect of remittance of various payments.

·      Monitoring tax compliances of overseas subsidiaries and Tax implication on foreign investments and

·      Review of Provision for Tax, Deferred Tax, Effective Tax rate and Advance Tax

Calculations and other quarter closing related activities, Tax Balance sheet

·      Adhering to clients’ corporate tax compliance timelines as per statute (assessments, filing of returns, etc) and engaging in corporate tax mandates for clients

Review deliverables prepared for clients related to various assignments.

Desired Profile:

·      A Qualified CA having minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in areas of

Direct taxation and International Taxation

·      Prior working experience with Big4s would be preferred.

·      Exceptional leadership and communication skills,

·      Ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team effectively.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive process improvements.

·      Good analytical skills and objective driven attitude

·      Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Skill Set: -

·      Ability to understand and analyze financial statements of Indian and Foreign

companies.

·      Ability to read, interpret and analyze Income Tax laws and DTAAs.

·      Strong command over Direct taxation Law to ensure compliance and issuance of advisory reports, business proposals, articles on legal / technical matters, legal submissions, etc.

·      Strong communicator, exhibiting inclusive behavior in interactions with internal C external stakeholders.

·      Process-focused mindset, with ability to align teams to consistent ways of working to meet organizational objectives.

·      Ability to motivate others and manage team dynamics to lead a healthy functioning team.

·      Strong technical and analytical skills to deliver high-quality client deliverables in an

efficient manner.
