Machine Operator - Metal Fabrication Location: Sanford, FL Pay: $18 per hour Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to operate traditional metal-fabrication equipment. Responsibilities: Operate traditional/manual production machinery with attached control screens. Load and unload materials safely. Work with press machines, roll formers, and grinding equipment. Measure materials and verify product specifications. Monitor equipment and notify maintenance when a machine malfunctions. Perform repetitive grinding work accurately and patiently. Cross-train on different machines and assist with cleaning during slower periods. Requirements: Previous metal-manufacturing or machine-operation experience Ability to push and pull up to 40 pounds Strong attendance and willingness to learn multiple positions Comfortable getting dirty and working in hot environments Steel-toed boots and work pants required; no shorts or tank tops The company provides work gloves.
