Sales Engineer

Location: Bhosari Pune Company: BR Instrumentation & Controls

BR Instrumentation & Controls is a growing manufacturer of water flow meters, industrial instrumentation systems, and automation solutions . We are expanding our technical sales team to strengthen our market presence and accelerate revenue growth.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong instrumentation background who can understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions, and convert opportunities into orders. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically sound, and confident in customer interactions.

• Generate and follow up on leads for flow meters, instrumentation products, and automation solutions.
• Understand customer applications and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Conduct site visits, product demos, and technical discussions with clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and end users.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, documentation, and after-sales support.

• Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation sales (flow meters preferred).
• Strong understanding of flow measurement technologies (Turbine, Vortex, Electromagnetic, Ultrasonic, etc.).
• Ability to read P&IDs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

• Experience selling to OEMs, EPCs, and process industries (Water, Chemical, Pharma, Food, HVAC, etc.).
• Knowledge of automation systems, PLC/SCADA basics.
• Existing customer network in instrumentation domain.
