Mastech Digital is hiring experienced ServiceNow Discovery Developers for a direct client opportunity with CGI.
We are seeking skilled professionals with strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and infrastructure data management to support enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
Position: ServiceNow Discovery DeveloperEmployment Type: Permanent Full-TimeExperience Required: 5+ years of ServiceNow development experienceWork Location: Onsite (Relocation assistance available)Work Authorization: Open to candidates with valid U.S. work authorization. No C2C / Third-Party Vendors.
Available Locations:• Knoxville, TN• Birmingham, AL• Columbia, SC• Lafayette, LA
Relocation Bonus Available
Key Responsibilities:• Develop, customize, and support ServiceNow Discovery capabilities within enterprise environments.• Build and customize ServiceNow Discovery Patterns to onboard servers, infrastructure, and network devices into CMDB.• Configure and support Service Graph Connectors and CMDB data ingestion mechanisms.• Troubleshoot Discovery failures, pattern issues, connectivity challenges, and CMDB data quality concerns.• Validate Configuration Items (CIs), relationships, and improve CMDB accuracy.• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, server, IT asset management, and operations teams.• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve development efficiency.
Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.• Experience developing and customizing Discovery Patterns.• Experience with Service Graph Connectors or similar CMDB ingestion solutions.• Strong understanding of infrastructure discovery, configuration items, and CMDB data quality.• Experience customizing ServiceNow solutions beyond out-of-the-box implementations.
Preferred Skills:• Python scripting/development experience.• AWS or cloud discovery experience.• IT Asset Management (ITAM) knowledge. xzbcwsv
