Role DescriptionThe Preconstruction Data Coordinator supports the preconstruction and production process by transforming estimate data into accurate, production-ready deliverables. This role is responsible for building internal system entries and preparing takeoff-based documentation to ensure a smooth handoff from estimating to production. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL, requiring strong organizational and analytical skills.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, follows processes consistently, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Internal System Entry CreationBuild system entries to support production, billing, and reporting,Input key job details including scope, contract values, and production notes,Validate accuracy to prevent downstream issues impacting scheduling or billing.
Preconstruction to Production HandoffEnsure all deliverables are complete and accurate prior to release,Maintain high standards of quality control and ownership of preconstruction deliverables,Communicate with internal teams to resolve missing or unclear information.
Required Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracy,Ability to interpret construction takeoffs, scopes, and basic plans/specifications,Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,Proficiency in Excel, PDFs, and construction-related software platforms,Strong communication skills with internal teams (estimating, sales, production. xzbcwsv )
Preferred QualificationsExperience in insulation, specialty subcontracting, or construction preconstruction,Familiarity with Salesforce, or takeoff software (Stack/OST),Understanding of construction workflows from estimating through production.
