A world-class cultural institution in Mumbai is hiring an experienced Art Installations Manager for a full-time permanent role across multiple high-profile special projects. This role is for someone who has worked hands-on with contemporary art - in galleries, museums, art fairs, exhibition companies, or specialist art logistics - and understands the precision and care that serious art programming demands.

Salary: ₹10 to ₹11 LPA position 1 and 6-7 LPA position 2
Experience: 3 to 6 years in art installations, gallery operations, or exhibition management
Urgency: Immediate hire
What you will do
Plan, coordinate, and supervise art installations across multiple locations and special projects
Manage movement, storage, and care of artworks across sites
Coordinate with artists, curators, and installation crews for seamless execution
Conduct site visits to assess requirements and resolve on-site challenges
Maintain installation schedules, condition records, and inventory documentation
Oversee dismantling, repacking, and relocation of artworks
Ensure all handling and transportation meets conservation and safety standards
You are right for this if you have
3 to 5 years hands-on experience in art installations, exhibition production, or gallery operations
Direct experience working with contemporary art in a professional environment - gallery, museum, art fair, biennale, or cultural institution
Knowledge of artwork handling, condition reporting, and fine art logistics
Experience coordinating across artists, curators, and technical crews
Willingness to travel to project sites across India
You are NOT right for this if
Your logistics background is in freight, supply chain, or e-commerce rather than the art world
You have not worked directly with physical artworks in a professional capacity
