Associate Director - IDT - Business licensing

Our core services</p><p>include Business Tax, Global Mobility, Indirect Tax, Global Transfer Pricing, Global Trade</p><p>Compliance and Tax Technology delivered by our professionals, who are known for their</p><p>technical acumen and business insights to deliver exceptional client service.</p><p><br /></p><p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p> </p><p>•Portfolio Ownership &amp; Strategy</p><p>o Own the Business License portfolio-set goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and governance; ensure client satisfaction across engagements.</p><p>o Conduct final/Client-level reviews of complex engagements, guide issue resolution and risk posture.</p><p>o Assist the go-to-market, M&amp;A, and local office teams to identify targets and scope for business license and registration services</p><p> </p><p>•Financial &amp; Resource Management</p><p><br /></p><p>o Prepare annual client budgets and staff budgets; manage utilization, productivity, and cost optimization.</p><p>o Oversee Budget vs Actuals; drive corrective actions and ROI on improvements.</p><p>o Analyze and manage the engagement financial data, including client billing</p><p> </p><p>•Stakeholder &amp; Relationship Management</p><p>o Build and maintain US stakeholder relationships; lead cadences and escalations; negotiate delivery improvements.</p><p>o Monitor transitions of new clients; define work plans and success criteria.</p><p> </p><p>•People Leadership</p><p>o Lead performance management, succession planning, hiring/onboarding,</p><p>and building capability.</p><p>o Create an environment of open feedback and coaching, support career</p><p>progressions.</p><p> </p><p>•Risk, Compliance &amp; Audits</p><p><br /></p><p>o Ensure firm-wide compliance standards; lead audits and remediate systemic</p><p>issues; uphold information security.</p><p> </p><p>•Transformation &amp; Growth</p><p><br /></p><p>o Sponsor automation/analytics initiatives (Alteryx, Macros, AI); deliver measurable productivity and quality gains.</p><p>o Expand BL services - pull more work to KGS by building Stakeholder / client trust.</p><p><br /></p><p>Mandatory technical &amp; functional skills</p><p>oHighly proficient in MS Office; strong analytical and advisory skills.</p><p>oDeep technical proficiency in US Direct/Indirect Tax compliance; multi-jurisdiction rule expertise.</p><p>oExpertise in Indirect Tax applications and Alteryx to manage complex engagements.</p><p>oFinancial planning, budgeting, and portfolio management skills.</p><p>oStrong analytical and advisory skills.</p><p>oSecond level / Final review of most complex engagement tasks related to US business license and tax registration</p><p>oOversee the preparation and delivery of business license and tax registration services</p><p> </p><p>Key behavioral attributes</p><p><br /></p><p>o Inspires teams; presents perspectives and outcomes with impact.</p><p>o Build and Manage engagements seamlessly; proactively shares best practice, ideas, information &amp; insights with colleagues, stakeholders to build own credibility and develop networks and solutions.</p><p>o Proactively gets involved in solving problems; planning contingencies and ensuring the deliveries are on time.</p><p>o Provides performance support through mentoring; demonstrates business &amp; financial acumen.</p><p> </p><p> Educational qualifications</p><p>o Master's degree in Accounts/Finance preferred</p><p>o Good to have professional certification eg.
