Job Description
- Lead the civil/structural design team for GIS substations and associated transmission projects.
- Establish design basis, engineering philosophy, design criteria, and applicable codes/standards.
- Review and approve civil/structural calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and engineering deliverables.
- Ensure timely release of IFC/AFC drawings in line with the EPC project schedule.
- Plan engineering manpower, deliverables, priorities, and design resources. GIS buildings/halls

- Transformer/reactor foundations
- GIS equipment foundations
- Equipment support structures
- Cable trenches and cable vaults
- Oil collection and oil drainage systems
- Fire-water and utility systems
- Roads and pavements
- Storm-water drainage

- Boundary walls and fencing
- Gantry and equipment foundations
- Ensure appropriate consideration of equipment loads, seismic loads, wind loads, vibration, maintenance access, transportation requirements, and equipment clearances .
