They're expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Job Overview: Are you early in your engineering career and interested in shaping projects from concept through early-stage development? Join our Projects team and play a key role in advancing critical initiatives within the Gas and Liquids Pipeline business. In this position, you will provide technical engineering support throughout the pre-sanction phases of the project lifecycle, including project planning, front-end development, design coordination, cost estimating, risk assessment, and schedule development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to help ensure projects are well-defined, strategically aligned, and positioned for successful execution. Key Responsibilities: Support project development activities from conception through early-stage planning and design. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, alignment, and decision-making throughout project development. Assist in identifying applicable regulatory requirements and support compliance planning during the project development phase. Contribute to the development of front-end engineering and design (FEED) packages, cost estimates, and project execution strategies. Develop realistic and reliable project schedules and cost estimates while identifying key risks, uncertainties, and potential impacts to project outcomes. Prepare project charters ranging from Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) to Class 3 scope definitions, supported by robust estimates and schedules. Compile and present critical project information that enables executive leadership and project sponsors to make informed investment and business decisions. Monitor project progress and provide both formal and informal updates to senior management and project stakeholders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the successful advancement of projects toward sanction and execution. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 0 to 3 years of related experience in oil and gas engineering, operations, project development, project management, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups. Foundational project management knowledge with an interest in supporting projects through development and into execution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess project risks, schedules, and cost considerations. Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Adaptable and organized, with the ability to respond effectively to changing business needs and project demands. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based work environment. Up to 10% travel required to company offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier locations. Valid passport required for travel and work between Canada and the United States.
