Education:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience

5 – 10+ years of relevant experience in 3 D System Design engineering design, preferably in manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or single-use systems.

Responsibilities

Core Work Area

Strong knowledge of 2 D/3 D CAD software such as Auto CAD, Solid Works. Experience in product design, engineering drawings, GD& T, BOM preparation, and design documentation. Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles. Experience in design validation, prototyping, testing, and design improvement. Ability to independently handle design projects from concept through production.

Coordination:

Coordinate with Process, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Vendor teams for design development, material requirements, manufacturing, and testing. Work closely with vendors to communicate design specifications and provide technical support during manufacturing. Participate in team meetings and provide project progress updates.

Documentation:

Prepare and review Design & Development (D& D) documentation and maintain relevant records. Coordinate document numbering, document requests, and document control requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Design Engineering.

Required Skills

Auto CAD SOLIDWORKS

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of ISO/GMP requirements and engineering quality standards. Experience with single-use bioprocessing equipment/products, pharma/biotech applications.
