Role Description The Psychiatrist will provide full-time, on-site clinical care at Shivam Neuro Psychiatry Hospital in Disa, offering assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with diverse psychiatric and mental health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing and adjusting treatment plans, prescribing and managing medications, and providing psychotherapy or other appropriate interventions. The role involves close collaboration with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care. The Psychiatrist will monitor patient progress, document clinical encounters in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards, and participate in case discussions, family meetings, and discharge planning. Additional responsibilities may include contributing to quality improvement initiatives, mentoring junior staff, and engaging in continuing professional development to maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong medical and psychiatric expertise, including Medicine and Psychiatry.
- Candidates should possess skills in direct psychiatric care and comprehensive Mental Health management.
- Candidates should possess experience or training in specialized areas such as Adolescent Psychiatry and broader Psychiatric Care.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical registration and license to practice Psychiatry, compliant with local regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team and to communicate clearly with patients and families.
- Strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and commitment to patient-centered, non-discriminatory care.
- Experience in hospital-based psychiatry or neuro-psychiatric settings is preferred; proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
