This 248-bed facility provides cardiothoracic surgical services across inpatient and clinic settings. The medical center maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support quality patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated care for the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

Ohio offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of community and cultural activities suited to varied interests. The state hosts craft and art festivals, outdoor music performances, and agricultural fairs across its regions in the fall season, with events in towns throughout the state. Additional attractions include the Ohio Renaissance Festival, airshows, and food-centered celebrations that reflect the cultural character of local communities.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide coverage across inpatient and clinic settings on a day shift basis, with call and 24-hour call responsibilities required as a condition of this assignment. Clinical duties include rounding on inpatients on the CV Surgery service and performing emergent procedures on-site. Clinicians must evaluate and treat patients at the facility and must not transfer patients to other facilities for care. Support staff, including PA, NP, MA for office, and an office supervisor, are available to assist throughout each assigned coverage period.
