Vice President CMO/CDMO International Business Development

Company Description Oceanic Pharmachem Pvt. Ltd. is a rapidly growing API and Advanced Intermediates company with a strong focus on regulated markets. As part of our next phase of growth, we are expanding our global CDMO/CMO business and are looking for a senior visionary leader to drive our international business. Role Description We are seeking a strategic and technically adept leader to head our International CMO/CDMO Business. This is a high-impact leadership role with P&L responsibility, reporting directly to Top Management. You will be responsible for building and scaling our global CDMO business with Innovator Pharma & Biotech clients. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Own and grow International Business Development for CDMO/CMO - API for Regulated Markets (US, EU, Japan) Identify, acquire and manage strategic partnerships with Innovator Pharma & Biotech companies Lead the entire BD lifecycle - Lead generation, RFQ, Proposal, Costing, Tech Review, Negotiation to Contract Closure Collaborate with R&D, QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing for feasibility and project execution Build and mentor a high-performing Business Development team Represent Oceanic at global industry forums - CPhI Worldwide, DCAT Week, BIO International Drive revenue, profitability, forecasting and strategic planning for the CDMO vertical WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Education: Ph.D./ MSc in Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Chemical Engineering is mandatory. MBA is a strong plus. Experience: 20 years in Pharmaceutical Industry with minimum 10 years in a leadership role handling International CDMO/CMO Business Development Proven track record of acquiring CDMO business from US & EU Innovator clients Deep technical understanding of API CDMO - Route Scouting, Process Development, Scale-up, Tech Transfer, GMP Manufacturing, DMF/CEP Strong network of clients in US/EU innovator space Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Location: Mumbai (Head Office) with extensive International Travel What We Offer: Leadership role to build a business, direct impact on company growth, competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives, global exposure.
