• 2-3 years of Public Procurement Experience
• Experience inInventory/warehouseManagement

Qualification

M.Sc / MA from HEC recognized University.

MS/MBA (Supply Chain Management) from HEC recognized University.

Key Responsibilities

• a. Ensure timely receipt of user Dtes/Schools/Institutions requirement ofprocurement related to Gen Stores, Technical Stores and Ration (Dry & Fresh)
• b. Ensure correctness of procurement requirements in terms of quantity, budget,and specifications.
• c. Ensure timely initiation of procurement process of all stores on E-PADS.
• d. Ensure timely completion of bid opening formalities i.e Pre bid meeting,availability of samples, and technical evaluation etc.
• e. Ensure correct preparation of CST, of procured stores and its timely approvalfrom competent authority through Director, duly audited.
• f. Ensure correct and timely preparation of contracts and issuance of POs. ofprocured stores.
• g. Ensure timely initiation of procurement process of ration items (Dry & Fresh) byasking quotations & samples from pre-qualified vendors.
• h. Ensure correctness of CST of ration items and its timely approval fromcompetent authority duly audited, through Dir P&LP.
• i. Ensure correct preparation of ration items and contracts timely issuance of POsafter approval of CST.
• j. Ensure timely delivery of dry ration items on fortnightly basis & fresh, on dailybasis.
• k. Ensure timely addressing of vendors/bidders queries/ grievances throughGrievances Committee.
• l. Provide procurement/contracting guidance and advice to all schools/ colleges/institution & vetting of RFQs and contracts concluded by them.
• m. Ensure auction of all condemned stores/ appliances and vehicles.
• n. Ensure timely stocktaking of all General Store, Technical Store and Ration itemsas per schedule.
• o. Ensure timely survey/ condemnation of General Store & Technical Stores.
• p. Ensure efficient inventory management of all stores.
• q. Handle admin & HR matters of Dte.
• r. Handle Petty Cash account & ensure its timely reimbursement
• s. Act as OIC workshop.
• t. Perform duty of acting Director in his absence/on leave.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

• 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
• NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
• In process of pursuing a required degree.
• Medically unfit.
• Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
• Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.

Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
