Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Sales role based in Visakhapatnam. The Interior Design Sales professional will engage with walk-in and referred clients, understand their requirements, and present suitable furniture and interior design concepts. Daily responsibilities include conducting design consultations, preparing basic space plans, recommending products, and creating proposals and quotations. The role involves coordinating with the design and production teams, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery and installation. The professional will maintain showroom displays, follow up on leads, and build long-term customer relationships to support sales growth. Qualifications
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to listen, advise, and build trust with clients. Practical knowledge of interior design and space planning, with an eye for aesthetics and functionality. Sales skills with experience in consultative selling, upselling, and closing deals in a showroom or design environment. Understanding of furniture types, materials, finishes, and customization options. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred. Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple client projects simultaneously. Basic computer skills for preparing proposals, maintaining records, and using design or visualization tools. Previous experience in interior design, furniture retail, or related fields is an advantage; relevant diploma or degree in interior design, architecture, or sales/marketing is preferred.
