Qualification :
- BSc in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a hospital environment; or
- B-Tech/DAE in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a hospital environment.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of critical care equipment is mandatory.
Job Description:
- Perform day-to-day repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance PPM, and calibration of biomedical equipment.
- Provide hands-on technical support for Operating Theatre OT, Anaesthesia, and Radiology equipment, including Anaesthesia Workstations, Ventilators, Patient Monitors, C-Arms, X-ray, Ultrasound, and CR/DR systems.
- Conduct routine departmental rounds to ensure equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
- Follow up on spare parts and coordinate with vendors for timely equipment restoration.
- Maintain equipment inventory, service history, and maintenance records.
- Implement departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
