POSITION: Remote: Lead Asp.NET Core 8.0 Fullstack Developer - (React/Next with some AI exposure)
Location: Pakistan (Fully Remote)
Work Schedule: 10 am to 7 pm (as per PK time)
Client: Australia–based Product Startup
Employment Type: Full-time, Remote
Salary: USD 1,800 – 2,000 (Tax-Free)
Notice Period: 2 – 4 weeks (max)
About the Role
We are hiring a highly skilled Lead ASP.NET Core 8.0 Fullstack Developer to join a fast-growing medical-billing Australian startup. This is a fully remote role for candidates based in Pakistan. The ideal candidate has strong team-leading and hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core 8.0 , Clean Architecture , SQL Server , and modern authentication frameworks, along with exposure to Next.js, AI integrations and cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team, and hands-on design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using ASP.NET Core 8.0 and Clean Architecture / Onion Architecture
Implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core (Code First) and manage migrations
Write and optimize complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database schemas
Integrate and manage Auth0 for authentication and authorization
Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs following best practices
Collaborate closely with frontend teams (Next.js) and cross-functional stakeholders
Integrate external AI/ML services via APIs (good to have)
Work with MCP Server (Model Context Protocol) where required
Implement unit tests and integration tests for backend components
Skills on Next.js and AI integrations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience
Strong hands-on experience with .NET 6/7/8 (preferably .NET 8)
Expertise in Entity Framework Core (Code First) and database migrations
Strong command over SQL Server , T-SQL , indexing, and performance tuning
Experience with Auth0 or similar identity/authentication providers
Solid understanding of Clean Architecture , SOLID principles , and design patterns
Proven experience building and maintaining REST APIs
Experience with Azure services (Service Bus, Blob Storage)
Next.js experience is mandatory
Proficiency in Git , CI/CD pipelines , and Agile development
Familiarity with MCP Server or willingness to learn
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good to Have
AI/ML API integrations
Experience with Claude/Gemini models or other voice/AI agent integrations
Startup or product-based development experience
