- Litigation / Personal Injury Location: Belfast Salary: £27,000-£30,000 I am working with an established Belfast law firm seeking to recruit a Paralegal to join its busy Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with experience in personal injury and litigation, ideally with exposure to Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims and Credit Hire matters.
The role will also involve Employer's Liability, workplace accidents and wider personal injury claims, offering the opportunity to develop experience across a varied litigation caseload.
You will join an experienced team within a firm with an established litigation practice and a strong focus on delivering practical, client-focused legal advice.
Working closely with solicitors, you will play an important role in progressing cases, managing documentation and supporting clients throughout the claims process.
The Role Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with a varied caseload of personal injury and litigation matters.
Progressing RTA claims, vehicle damage and Credit Hire matters.
Supporting Employer's Liability and workplace accident claims.
Reviewing evidence, medical records and supporting documentation.
Drafting correspondence, legal documents and court applications.
Preparing court bundles, case files and hearing documentation.
Liaising with clients, insurers, opposing solicitors, counsel and medical experts.
Monitoring deadlines, maintaining accurate case records and providing client updates.
Supporting solicitors with case preparation, negotiations and settlement.
This is a hands-on opportunity to develop your litigation experience within an established team, with exposure to a range of contentious matters and the chance to take on increasing responsibility.
About You I am keen to speak with Paralegals who have previous experience in personal injury or litigation and are looking to develop their expertise within a busy legal team.
You will ideally have: Previous experience within a litigation or personal injury department.
Exposure to RTA claims and associated litigation.
Credit Hire experience would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Employer's Liability or workplace accident claims would be beneficial.
Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
A professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
The confidence to liaise with clients and a range of legal and insurance professionals.
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in litigation.
Candidates with a solid foundation in litigation who are keen to broaden their personal injury experience will also be considered.
