Market Development Coordinator

<p></p><h2>POSITION SUMMARY</h2> We are seeking a motivated Market Development Coordinator to support specification representatives and market specification development efforts for granite curbing products. This role focuses on contact identification, customer outreach, relationship building, and lead tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable with outbound communication and follow-up in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with municipalities, contractors, engineering firms, and other industry contacts to help support specification efforts and identify project opportunities. <h2>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h2> Specification Support * Conduct outreach to municipalities, contractors, engineering firms, and public works contacts to support granite curb specification efforts <ul><li>Help build and maintain customer and industry relationships</li><li>Identify upcoming project opportunities in the design stage, planning stage,</li></ul> and through research and direct communication * Assist with distributing product information, drawings, samples, and related materials * Support outside specification representatives with follow-up communication and scheduling Contact Identification &amp; CRM Support * Identify and research key contacts, decision-makers, and target accounts to support outside specification market development efforts * Maintain accurate contact, customer, and project information within CRM software * Schedule meetings, presentations, and project discussions for the outside specification team * Track specification opportunities, customer activity, and follow-up communication * Assist with product specification efforts, sales documentation, and general administrative support Industry Support * Assist with preparation of trade shows, conferences, customer presentations, and industry events as needed * Support outreach efforts with industry associations, municipal groups, and engineering organizations <h2>IDEAL CANDIDATE</h2> * Areas of study or experience in architecture, construction management, construction estimating, civil engineering, engineering technology, public works, building materials, architectural products, natural stone, inside sales, or related fields. <ul><li>Comfortable with cold calling and maintaining a professional phone presence.</li><li>Self-starter with a proactive, relationship-building mindset.</li><li>Customer service experience and experience working with CRM systems</li></ul> preferred. * Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills. <h2>POSITION DETAILS</h2> <ul><li>Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly</li><li>Compensation: $21.50 – $24.00 per hour (equivalent to approximately $45,000 –</li></ul> $50,000 annually, based on a 40-hour work week) <ul><li>Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours</li><li>Location: Hybrid, Bedford, IN 47421</li></ul> BENEFITS (may vary by location) <ul><li>401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match</li><li>Comprehensive Health/Dental/Vision insurance</li><li>Life/Disability/AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Paid Time off (Vacation/Holidays)</li><li>Flexible work schedule</li></ul> Note: Any experience deemed equivalent will be considered.
