Job Description

Salary: $145,000 - 175,000 per year Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience developing automation solutions in a professional IT environment; 3 years of Managed Services experience is listed as required.
  • Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Strong experience building integrations with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, project management, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and modern source control practices.
  • At least 1 year of experience using Claude and Claude Code.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Azure OpenAI and prompt engineering.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with DLP policies and data governance.
  • Background in business process automation or systems integration.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex automation and integration issues.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Strong ownership, analytical thinking, curiosity about emerging technologies, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong documentation habits, commitment to maintainable code, and ability to prioritize initiatives while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of MSP experience; experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, or production LLM integrations; familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), vector databases, and RAG; experience with Azure AI Services or similar platforms, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, containerization, infrastructure as code, Power BI, and data visualization.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions to improve our internal operations and client service delivery.
  • Build and maintain AI agents using Claude and other modern large language model technologies.
  • Develop prompt engineering standards, reusable prompt libraries, and AI workflows.
  • Create internal AI tools that boost technician productivity and automate repetitive work.
  • Assess emerging AI technologies and recommend appropriate adoption.
  • Develop retrieval-augmented generation solutions using company documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Build AI-assisted reporting, knowledge management, and operational tools.
  • Establish and maintain AI governance, testing, monitoring, and security practices to protect company and client data throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Ensure AI solutions follow approved governance policies, access controls, auditability requirements, and secure-by-design principles.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts across business systems and managed service platforms.
  • Integrate PSA, RMM, Microsoft 365, Azure, security platforms, and other business applications.
  • Create PowerShell- and API-driven automation for Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments.
  • Automate software deployment, monitoring, remediation, and infrastructure management.
  • Improve our automation frameworks and identify additional opportunities across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Automation Accounts, and other cloud-native services.
  • Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, branching strategies, code reviews, and release processes.
  • Maintain secure development practices, including secrets management and Key Vault integration.
  • Monitor production AI and automation solutions for reliability and performance.
  • Partner with technical teams to identify automation opportunities and work with leadership to prioritize AI initiatives with measurable returns.
  • Document standards, architecture, and implementation procedures; participate in architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Research and prototype emerging AI technologies to help keep us at the forefront of innovation.
  • Demonstrate our core values and independently drive projects from concept through deployment.
