Maintenance Worker, Parks & Landscape

Under the direction and supervision of the Supervisor and/or Crew Leader, Parks, this position performs unskilled labor tasks. This position may require evening and weekend hours. It is required at times to work unscheduled overtime. Performs mowing, weed eating, landscaping, and other similar activities. Performs minor building maintenance including lights, painting, pressure washing, and other basic repairs. Performs maintenance of parks and facilities including restrooms, equipment, and courts. Assists in set-up for City functions, chairs, tables, equipment, etc. Monitors and enforces park rules and regulations to the general public. In the event of a natural disaster, reports to place of duty. Performs other related job duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma
