Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (36 hours/week)

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Department: Medical Surgical III

Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience:  One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/certification/registration:  Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments safely and effectively
  • Strengthen clinical skills through experience with wound care, IV insertion and management, blood collection, and enteral feeding management
  • Provide care for patients with stable tracheostomies as needed
  • Educate patients and families to promote recovery, independence, and successful transitions home
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive patient outcomes
