Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager at WILLIAMS KITCHEN will support daily operations of the restaurant at Shakespeare Point, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming environment for guests. This full-time, on-site role in Kolkata involves supervising staff, assisting with scheduling, and supporting hiring and training activities. The role includes monitoring food service quality, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, and resolving guest issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will also help manage inventories, oversee cash handling procedures, support adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and provide regular feedback to senior management on service performance and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle guest queries and resolve issues effectively.
• Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with staff, management, and guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience or aptitude in Hiring and basic team supervision, including supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of restaurant staff.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including menu understanding, service standards, and basic inventory oversight.
• Prior experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail operations is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
