Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Certifications: Must maintain necessary certifications and complete on-going educational units/certifications required for assigned areas of responsibility.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must possess all of the following, e xperience may be concurrent :
LICENSE Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.EDUCATION A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
EXPERIENCE Four (4) years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital, with at least two (2) years of experience in a Peri-Operative Services unit, such as Operating Room, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Same Day Surgery. SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE OPTION 1 One (1) year of experience as a nurse manager.
OPTION 2 Two (2) years of experience as a full-scope supervisor over professional nursing staff.
CERTIFICATION Must possess and maintain a current Healthcare Provider lever Basic Life Support (BLS). Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Peri-Operative Services Nurse Manager in a large acute care teaching hospital. Possession of a Masters degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration is preferred. Experience with budget assessment, recommendation, and reconciliation, as well as proficiency in Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) and other process improvement methodologies, is also desired. Leadership certifications such as Lean Six Sigma and Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC) are highly desirable.
