The Job Details: The Warehouse Lead performs all duties of a warehouse associate and assumes the responsibilities of the supervisor in their absence. This role requires effective leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. · Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew, fostering strong relationships with staff and promoting our company culture · Act as a key liaison between warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations · Maintain high standards of warehousing practices, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and inventory accuracy. · Enhance operational efficiency by leading, training, and mentoring Warehouse Associates, driving performance improvements. · Support assigned associates in meeting productivity goals while addressing any violations of safety or company policies. · Proactively troubleshoot warehouse challenges, collaborating with team members to find effective solutions. · Manage the truck dock operations, coordinating trailer movements and overseeing the flow of pallets in and out of storage areas. · Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to assign doors, direct tasks, and handle exceptions efficiently. · Serve as a primary contact for escalating issues and facilitating timely resolutions. · Assume supervisory responsibilities as needed to ensure team accountability and operational success. · Perform Warehouse Associate duties as required by business demands. • Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
