Job Title: Illustrator – Environmental Graphics & Murals

Role Overview

The Illustrator will be responsible for creating original artwork, illustrations, murals, and graphic assets for commercial interiors, workplaces, hospitality, and public spaces. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding drawing skills, a strong artistic style, and the ability to adapt to different visual languages while collaborating with designers, architects, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop original illustrations for large-scale wall murals, canvas artworks, environmental graphics, and branded interiors. Create concept sketches, mood boards, and presentation visuals during the design development stage. Produce high-quality vector and raster artwork suitable for large-format printing, hand painting, and fabrication. Translate client briefs, brand identities, cultural references, and architectural concepts into unique visual narratives. Work closely with the Art Director and Design Team to develop creative concepts for corporate offices, hospitality projects, and retail environments. Prepare production-ready artwork for wallpapers, vinyl graphics, acrylic installations, laser-cut elements, and other fabricated artworks. Collaborate with mural artists and production teams to ensure artwork is accurately executed on site. Create illustrations in multiple styles, including contemporary, abstract, geometric, minimal, hand-drawn, nature-inspired, typographic, and cultural themes. Maintain consistency in colours, composition, proportions, typography, and visual language throughout each project. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh creative ideas for client presentations. Stay updated with global illustration, environmental graphic design, art, and workplace design trends. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Illustration, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field. 2–6 years of professional illustration experience. Exceptional freehand sketching and drawing skills. Strong understanding of composition, colour theory, perspective, and storytelling. Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with Procreate or similar digital illustration software is an advantage. Ability to prepare artwork for large-format print production. Strong understanding of typography and layout. Knowledge of mural execution, wall graphics, or environmental graphics is highly desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
