This facility is seeking a non-invasive Cardiologist to assist with inpatient cardiovascular coverage on a weekly or biweekly basis. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 30 days.

The area is situated along the coast of Southwest Florida and offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural experiences. Recreational options include kayaking along local waterways, exploring trails at nature preserves, and relaxing on nearby coastal areas, with additional opportunities for swimming, fishing, and birdwatching on nearby islands. A downtown district featuring dining, shops, and live music venues rounds out the leisure options available during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide non-invasive inpatient cardiovascular disease management on a day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call coverage required from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM. A patient volume of approximately 15-20 patients per day is anticipated throughout the coverage period. No APP support is available during the locums coverage period, and board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required for consideration.
