Job Description
As a Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse, you provide pre- and post-procedural care for interventional cardiology patients, including post-angioplasty, chest pain/STEMI, heart failure, and pre-op cardiac surgery cases. You assess patients, administer medications, monitor telemetry, and respond to changes in condition. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you coordinate care, educate patients and families, and support safe transitions within a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital unit.
