Location: Roseland, NJ – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)Employment Type: ContractExperience: 8+ Years PreferredAGM Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a contract opportunity with our direct client in Roseland, NJ.We are looking for a highly skilled developer with strong expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS Lambda. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications in modern cloud environments.This position requires someone who can think critically, solve complex technical challenges independently, and take ownership of development initiatives from design through deployment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.Build reusable, high-performance React components following modern development practices.Develop and deploy serverless applications and backend services using AWS Lambda.Design and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and third-party services.Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and implementation.Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.Required Qualifications:8+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong hands-on React.js experience, including hooks, state management, reusable components, and performance optimization.Extensive hands-on AWS Lambda experience developing and deploying serverless applications.Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including API Gateway and S3.Experience with SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with technical teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Next.js, NestJS, or Express.js.Knowledge of GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Docker.Experience with Redux, Zustand, or other React state management solutions.Exposure to Python and application modernization initiatives.Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical architecture.What We're Looking For:We are seeking a strong, hands-on engineer who brings more than technical knowledge.
