Job Description Manage all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout. Lead subcontractors, field staff, and project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Oversee federal construction projects including interior renovations, facility modernizations, and secure facility upgrades. Coordinate daily site operations, scheduling, logistics, quality control, and safety compliance. Partner closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to drive project execution and client satisfaction. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions to maintain project milestones. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, federal standards, and project documentation processes. Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Support projects throughout the DC Metro area, with opportunities to assist projects in North Carolina, Florida, and other regional markets when needed. Utilize Procore and Microsoft Office Suite to manage reporting, documentation, and project communication. The Successful Applicant 7-10+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial or federal construction. Demonstrated success managing federal construction projects from $2M-$30M. Strong background in interior renovations, tenant improvements, and facility modernization projects. Experience working in secure, government, military, or mission-critical environments preferred. Extensive knowledge of federal construction standards, project sequencing, and subcontractor management. Established network of subcontractors and vendors within the Mid-Atlantic region is highly desirable. OSHA certification required. CPR and First Aid certification required. Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel as needed, though local DMV-based candidates are encouraged to apply.
