Job Description

Job Role: ERP Implementation Lead & PMO Head

Reporting to: CTO/Head of Process Excellence

Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan

Role Objective:

To lead end-to-end lifecycle of Infor ERP deployment — from sizing to implementation to stabilization and transition into BAU operations. The role will involve managing the ERP platform and implementation partners across system build, change adoption, legacy system decommissioning, internal support desk setup and operations, and Phase 2 enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Sizing & Discovery

  • Governance: Establish project governance structure, including Project Charter, steering committee protocols, and resource allocation before project kick-off.
  • Business Process Mapping: Document "As-Is" workflows and design "To-Be" processes to align business requirements with Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) Infor functionalities.
  • Product Sizing: Evaluate and define required functional modules, features, and license types (Named vs Concurrent) to support discrete & project-based manufacturing, interior finishing & fit-out, and MEPF workflows.
  • Infrastructure Sizing: Determine environment requirements (Cloud/On-prem) based on expected concurrency, transaction volume, and data residency needs.

Build & Deployment

  • Implementation Management: Manage the implementation partner to ensure the system build strictly adheres to the approved Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD).
  • Data Migration & ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Oversee the extraction of legacy data, the transformation(cleansing and mapping), and the loading of that data into the Infor environment using standard migration templates.
  • UAT & QA: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate work flows and resolve functional gaps before moving to production.
  • Go-Live Management: Execute Go-Live activities, including cutover planning and successful transition from legacy systems to the new Infor environment.

Organizational Change Management (OCM) & Adoption

  • Change Readiness Assessment: Conduct Change Readiness Assessment and design tailored change management strategies.
  • Super User Network: Identify, train, and empower a network of departmental "Super Users" (SMEs)to serve as localized champions on the shop floor and in the office and project sites.
  • Role-Based Training: Design and execute pre-launch training programs based on actual day-in-the-life scenarios (e.g., buyer, project manager) rather than generic system click-throughs.
  • Legacy Decommissioning: Execute the strategy to systematically disable, lock, or uninstall legacy software and localized spreadsheets immediately post-launch to make reverting to old workflows impossible.

Stabilization & Hyper-care

  • Floor-Walking Support: Provide visible, on-the-ground support immediately after go-live to hand-hold users through their first live transactions and alleviate operational panic.
  • Rapid Incident Triage: Quickly categorize post-launch issues to separate user training gaps ("how-to" queries) from system defects, ensuring immediate resolution.
  • System Optimization: Refine system configurations and workflows based on this real-time operational feedback to ensure performance stability.

Support Desk & BAU Operations

  • L1/L2 Support Desk: Establish and lead the internal ERP support desk to manage ongoing user incidents, service requests, and access controls.
  • System Ownership: Manage daily system health, user provisioning, and the deployment of mandatory patch updates and releases.
  • Adoption Analytics& Enforcement: Monitor system transaction logs to identify users struggling with the system or departments attempting to use "Shadow IT," intervening with targeted retraining or policy enforcement.

Phase 2 Build & Continuous Improvement

  • Value Realization: Audit system usage against the original business case to identify gaps and uncover further automation opportunities.
  • Change Control: Manage the Change Request (CR) process to formally evaluate, cost, and prioritize any new functional requirements requested by the business.
  • Expansion & Enhancement: Lead the rollout of approved Phase 2 modules and third-party integrations (e.g., Automated Bidding, BIM, or Warehouse Management).

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Experience: 8–12 years in ERP project management, with at least one full-lifecycle implementation of Infor LN or Infor CSI. Specific experience in discrete and project-based manufacturing models is highly preferred.
  2. Industry Background: Direct experience encompassing furniture manufacturing integrated with interior finishing and fit-out, project-based operations, and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF)environments is highly preferred.
  3. Dual-Sided Exposure: Proven track record of working on both the Implementation Partner/Consulting side (Delivery) and the Client side (Operations/BAU).
  4. Change Leadership: Demonstrable experience transitioning a non-digital or legacy workforce into a modern ERP environment, with strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP Project Management methodologies, Process Mapping(preferably BPMN), SQL/Data Querying.

Success Metrics(Performance KPIs):

  1. Project Baseline Adherence: System deployment completed within the approved Steering Committee timeline and within a strict budget variance limit (e.g., +/- 5%).
  2. Data Migration Integrity: 99.9% accuracy in Master Data validation (e.g., Item Masters, BOMs, Routings, Customer/Vendor files) formally signed off by department heads prior to the production cutover.
  3. Full Transactional Adoption: 100% of defined daily operational transactions executed exclusively with inInfor within 30 days of Go-Live (Zero tolerance for manual/off-system processing).
  4. Stabilization SLA & Defect Resolution: Zero Priority 1 (Critical) or Priority 2 (High) defects remaining open at the formal exit of the 60-day Stabilization window, alongside a 95%+SLA adherence for resolving L1/L2support desk tickets.
  5. Super User Efficacy: 100% of departmental Super Users trained and certified prior to UAT, functioning as an effective "L0" support tier that deflects at least 30% of basic "how-to" helpdesk tickets from their respective departments.
  6. Legacy Decommissioning (Shadow IT Elimination): 100% of identified legacy databases, disparate software, and localized Excel workflows formally locked, archived, and uninstalled within45 days post-Go-Live.

If any of you have the core skills into infor software implementation, may share updated resumes over recruitment@ievo.co.in
