Housekeeper - Part Time

<p>$17-$19 per hour Overview Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning community facilities and buildings to ensure the community remains presentable and sanitary at all times.Job Duties Cleans, sanitizes and stocks kitchen areas with paper products (Essential) Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold, and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential) Cleans, sanitizes and stocks bathrooms, including ensuring they are well lit and rubber mats are in place to ensure safety (Essential) Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Immediately reports any unsafe/hazardous conditions, incidents/accidents, and/or defective equipment to Community Manager or immediate supervisor (Essential) Ensures the general property appearance is well maintained and orderly Sweeps, mops, waxes, and buffs floors as needed Cleans windows and screens, ensuring they are in functioning order Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, and handling routine maintenance Ensures all offices are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed Ensures that all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required) 6 months in previous experience cleaning homes, apartments, or other large facilities (Preferred) Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals Demonstrated knowledge of janitorial work Must have a valid driver's license </p><h2>REWARDING BENEFITS</h2> At Sun Communities, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
