Role Description

The Proposal Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. This role is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for automation and control system projects, including reviewing customer requirements, selecting appropriate components, and developing system architectures. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical evaluations, coordinating with engineering and sales teams, estimating costs, preparing quotations, and ensuring proposals comply with customer specifications and internal standards. The Proposal Engineer also supports pre-sales activities, participates in client meetings, provides clarification on submitted proposals, and contributes to continuous improvement of proposal templates and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, instrumentation, and related engineering principles.
• Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimation, component selection, and system design documentation.
• Proficiency with engineering and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), and familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and related technologies.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret customer specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
• Ability to work on-site in Lahore, manage multiple proposals simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in an automation, EPC, or industrial solutions environment is preferred.
• Understanding of industrial standards and best practices, and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
