Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Go (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to building high-performance, scalable, and maintainable backend systems.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) .
• Architect and implement scalable, resilient microservices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver quality features.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring of junior developers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• You will be a Senior developer in a Scrum team working with Golang as main technology
• You will be assigned with challenging task which require the ability to think out-of-the box and propose innovative solutions
• You will be requested to develop features through their entire lifecycle: from architecting them to implementation, unit testing, validation, and release.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience, with 4+ years in Go (Golang) .
• Strong understanding of backend system design, microservices architecture, and API development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs , gRPC , and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP,) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Ability to leverage AI tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, and the ability to develop on them (leveraging APIs)
• Jenkins and Microservice-based architectures
• You are enthusiastic and curious about software development technologies
• You enjoy working in a team, are independent, highly motivated, proactive, structured and responsible
• You have completed a software development related degree
• You have strong experience in defining software architectures, reviewing requirements and autonomously implementing them in complex environments
• You have strong experience in the lifecycle of a software product
• You have a strong ability to learn new technologies and become productive
• You have a strong commitment in ensuring high quality code
• You have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to travel occasionally are no problem for you
• Good communication skills and English round off your profile.
