With vendors, customers, and financial activity spanning multiple accounts, we rely on a detail-oriented accounting professional to help keep our financial operations running smoothly.
We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist with at least one year of accounting experience who understands the day-to-day mechanics of AP/AR. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with financial transactions, investigating discrepancies, and keeping accounts accurate and up to date.
What You’ll DoInitiate daily vendor payments through ACH, check processing, wire transfers, and third-party payment platforms.Post vendor payments to the appropriate bank accounts and maintain accurate payment records.Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and work with vendors and internal teams to resolve outstanding issues.Maintain and reconcile multiple company bank accounts, ensuring balances and transactions are accurate and current.Prepare and process customer invoices and accurately post incoming payments.Maintain accurate customer account records and assist with periodic reporting.Prepare AP/AR reports and provide financial information to management as needed.
What We’re Looking ForAt least 1 year of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in an accounts payable/accounts receivable role.Direct experience initiating vendor payments through ACH, checks, wire transfers, or electronic payment platforms.Experience preparing and maintaining bank account reconciliations.Experience in Microsoft SuiteStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.Ability to manage recurring deadlines while maintaining accurate financial records. xzbcwsv
