About the Role
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The primary focus of this role will be Accounts Receivable, customer payment follow-ups and collections . The ideal candidate should be confident in communicating with customers through phone calls and email to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and customer balances.
- Make regular calls to customers for payment follow-ups .
- Send professional email communications regarding outstanding payments and payment commitments.
- Follow up consistently until outstanding amounts are collected.
- Maintain accurate records of customer follow-ups, commitments and collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment-related queries.
- Coordinate with the Operations and other internal teams regarding billing and outstanding payments.
- Assist with invoicing, receipts and other routine accounting activities.
- Prepare reports related to outstanding receivables and collections.
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts/Finance.
- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable is preferred .
- Candidates with Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry experience will have an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in English , both written and verbal.
- Must be comfortable making payment follow-up calls and sending regular follow-up emails.
- Strong follow-up skills with a result-oriented approach.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and MS Excel.
- Must be based in Bengaluru and willing to travel/commute to Marathahalli .
Someone who is confident in customer communication, persistent with payment follow-ups and responsible for ensuring timely collections .
