About Dabble Dabble PlayArt is India's first clean-label PlayArt brand, creating safe, open-ended, process-first art materials for children aged 0–6, Featured on Shark Tank India and recognized with Karnataka's Elevate Award for Innovation, we're a small and energetic team building a brand that parents and children genuinely love. The Role We're looking for a Graphic & Packaging Designer to lead the visual language of our products — end to end. This role owns a high volume of packaging design across our growing product range, and requires someone equally comfortable with structural packaging thinking and hands-on illustration. You'll be the person who turns "clean-label, joyful, process-over-product" into boxes, labels, and inserts that stop parents mid-scroll on a shelf or in an Amazon listing. What You'll Do - Design packaging for the full Dabble range — crayons, paints, playdough, clay kits, and new product launches — from concept through print-ready files - Create original illustrations that carry Dabble's warm, playful, lyrical brand voice across packaging, inserts, and collateral - Manage a steady pipeline of packaging projects simultaneously, keeping quality high without sacrificing turnaround - Work closely with the founder and internal team to translate brand voice and product story into visual form - Maintain and evolve design systems across product worlds so packaging feels cohesive as the range grows - Support marketing and content needs where packaging assets extend into social, Amazon Brand Store, or campaign visuals - Prep files for print production and coordinate with vendors/printers to ensure quality output What We're Looking For - Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design (structural and print-ready) — not just digital or social work - Excellent illustration skills — original, hand-crafted or digitally illustrated work, not just stock or template-based design - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (or equivalent) - Understanding of print production — dielines, CMYK, bleed, paper/finish considerations - An eye for warmth, playfulness, and simplicity, someone who can design for children and parents without tipping into cliché or "kiddie" visual tropes - Ability to manage multiple design projects at once and hit deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment - Bonus: experience designing for early-years, toy, or FMCG/D2C brands Why Dabble You'll shape the physical, tangible face of a brand built on a real founding story, a search for safe art materials that became India's first clean-label PlayArt company.
