We are looking for a motivated and quick-learning Software Engineer with foundational knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, C#, .NET, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have an interest in modern software development practices and practical experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT.

The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining web applications, backend APIs, and database-driven systems. An understanding of Healthcare EDI and medical billing workflows is an added advantage. We value strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to understand existing systems and learn new technologies quickly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Contribute to backend development using C# and .NET technologies.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and work with JSON-based data exchange.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established coding standards.
• Understand existing codebases, business logic, and application workflows.
• Troubleshoot bugs, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.

2. AI-Assisted Development

• Use AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT to improve development productivity.
• Leverage AI tools to understand codebases, generate and refactor code, implement features, and troubleshoot issues.
• Use effective prompting and provide relevant context to obtain accurate results.
• Validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability rather than relying on it blindly.
• Stay updated with emerging AI coding tools and AI-assisted development practices.

3. Database and System Understanding

• Understand relational database concepts, tables, relationships, indexes, and data integrity.
• Understand how frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and databases interact.
• Analyze existing queries and stored procedures to investigate application issues and data inconsistencies.

4. Healthcare EDI and Domain Learning

• Develop an understanding of healthcare data exchange and medical billing workflows.
• Learn the basics of healthcare EDI transactions, including:
• 270/271: Eligibility inquiry and response.
• 835: Electronic remittance advice (ERA).
• 276/277: Claim status inquiry and response.
• Assist in analyzing EDI files and troubleshooting integration or data mapping issues.

Note: Prior Healthcare EDI knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 0–1 year of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, or personal projects.
• Foundational knowledge of C#, .NET Framework .
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and basic programming concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and client-server communication.
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.
• Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand existing code, adapt to new technologies, and work independently on assigned tasks with appropriate guidance.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Exposure to ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, or ASP.NET Core.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic understanding of Healthcare EDI, medical billing, or healthcare software systems.
• Experience developing academic or personal projects using Angular, TypeScript, C#, or .NET.
