Role Description The Vlocity Architect – Salesforce Communications Cloud is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions on Salesforce and Vlocity/OmniStudio for communications industry clients. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable architectures, configuring Salesforce Communications Cloud components, and overseeing solution design across data models, integration patterns, and user experiences. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams, provide technical leadership, and ensure adherence to best practices and governance standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical designs, guiding developers, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, and supporting project delivery from initial discovery through deployment and post-implementation enhancements. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience creating scalable, secure, and reusable solution designs. Candidates should possess Software Development and Integration skills, including hands-on experience with Salesforce, Vlocity/OmniStudio, APIs, and related cloud technologies. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and contributing to delivery plans. Experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud and Vlocity/OmniStudio configuration, data modeling, and declarative tools is highly beneficial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant Salesforce and Vlocity/OmniStudio certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, OmniStudio Consultant) are a plus.
