JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Manager oversees the activities of junior staff and supports the Finance Manager in recording and retrieving financial information for the smooth operations of the Finance Department.

• Develops and maintains effective communication and positive working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders
• Maintains interdepartmental coordination to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
• Prepares reports on an adhoc basis as per requirements of Top Management
• Performs duties of Manager in his/her absence
• Provides recommendations to improve processes through innovation and change management
• Timely delivery of reports to senior management
• Completion of all departmental activities as per timeline assigned by CFO
• Attendance and punctuality
• Assists the Manager in the budgeting process and provides solutions to complex problems
• Prepares audit reports for both internal and external auditors in order to facilitate a strong auditing system.
• Prepares accounting entries relating to inter-unit transfers and monthly income related to private as well as corporate customers.
• Prepares various reports including consultant sharing and client rental details
• Updates records of prepayments and inter-departmental details of other campuses monthly
• Reconciles ledgers with other units / group companies as and when required
• Supervises salary disbursement in a timely and ethical manner
