Managing complex tax research and data analysis, the full-time remote State Tax Manager will ensure compliance with tax laws, implement tax planning strategies, and oversee significant processes within the Tax Department. Key responsibilities Perform complicated tax research and data analysis to identify and implement tax planning strategies Review significant tax elements of GAAP and Statutory accounting to ensure adherence to tax accounting policy Manage external resources and lead tax integration efforts for specific processes or matters Required qualifications Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience Master's degree in Taxation, JD in Taxation, or designation as CPA or CFA 9 years of experience in a corporate tax department or national public accounting firm Demonstrated ability to evaluate situations and make knowledge-based decisions Proven ability to interact with and influence peers and senior tax leadership
