Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality resident care Provide direct nursing care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to physicians and care team Ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Make daily rounds to assess resident care and staff performance Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Support and guide CNAs and LVNs in delivering care Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members Qualifications Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Licensure & Certifications Current, active California RN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Skills Strong clinical and assessment skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong documentation and organizational skills Work Environment Skilled nursing facility setting Long-term care and short-term rehabilitation residents Fast-paced clinical environment Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement Westgate Gardens Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
