ResponsibilitiesTranslate real-world tax workflows into product improvementsPrepare and review individual income tax returnsIdentify tax edge cases, complex scenarios, and ways to break the productBring your tax preparation experience to help shape the product roadmapWork directly with engineers to explain tax rules and expected outcomes
QualificationsA keen desire to be part of the earliest part of startup journeyCertified Public Accountant. Experienced Enrolled Agents may also be consideredExperience preparing individual tax returns (1040s) using professional tax software such as ProSystem, GoSystem, UltraTax, CCH, Lacerte, and DrakeExperienced reviewing tax returns, not just preparing themStrong understanding of U.S. federal individual income taxExcellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organization skills
