Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Motors Salvage & Recovery is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the Salvage & Recovery department, ensuring the efficient recovery and management of salvaged motor assets. This role requires a strong understanding of the automotive salvage process, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve department goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the salvage and recovery department.
• Coordinate and manage the recovery, storage, and resale of salvaged motor assets.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize salvage recovery and revenue.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Evaluate salvage bids, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to salvage operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the smooth operation of processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in motor salvage management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of automotive salvage and recovery processes and regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Profeciency in MS Office, report writing and data analysis tools

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of achieving targets in salvage and recovery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
