Job Description
Enterprise Solutions Architect
About HighGear
HighGear is an AI-enabled visual workflow platform designed from the ground up to meet the rigorous requirements of the world's most highly regulated industries. We are seeking a highly qualified Enterprise Solutions Architect. We help large organizations in finance, energy, government, defense and manufacturing dramatically improve visibility, accountability, and manageability of complex, long running and critical processes. We are profitable and growing rapidly with a focused team that leverages our technology and AI to outperform much larger competitors.
The Role
We are adding an experienced individual-contributor position to accelerate and deepen our impact within enterprise clients. This role will deliver hands-on configuration and solution work while also serving as a high-caliber consultative resource to drive strategic adoption, uncover new opportunities, and build reusable solution accelerators that shorten sales cycles and increase client adoption and utilization.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and key team members, helping translate complex regulatory and cross-functional operational challenges into HighGear-powered solutions. You will work closely across the organization and help elevate HighGear from tactical operational deployments to strategic enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior consultative resource to clients, in support and coordination with Customer Success. Conduct discovery sessions with C-level and senior leaders to uncover unmet needs, design high-impact solutions, and build executive sponsorship.
- Identify major unmet needs in our verticals and help create industry-specific solution templates (e.g., leveraging existing and emerging standards such as CMMC or ISO 42001 for AI governance in workflows).
- Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Client Enablement to expand adoption within existing accounts and accelerate movement from operational entry points to executive-level strategic conversations.
- Stay current with regulatory developments in our target industries and position HighGear as the ideal platform to help clients meet compliance and operational excellence goals.
- Build “solution magnets” and pre-built accelerators/templates in HighGear that address key and developing pain points within our verticals (Finance, Energy, Government, Custom or Defense-specific Manufacturers), enabling dramatically faster deployments and higher win rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners from multiple departments including software engineering and client enablement as needed to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Travel 1–3 times per month for client workshops, discovery sessions, and executive presentations (typically 1–3 days per trip).
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- Deliver several high-visibility “solution magnets” and accelerators that generate measurable interest and additional meetings with senior leadership within target prospects and clients.
- Identify and document at least one key unmet need per primary vertical, with corresponding HighGear solution templates and target messaging ready for rapid deployment.
- Increase the speed and success rate of moving from initial operational deployments to broader strategic adoption.
- Generate measurable growth by building strong executive relationships that support revenue expansion and referenceable client stories.
- Contribute to a more scalable, professionalized configuration services function as the company grows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in technology consulting, systems integration, operations, or compliance.
- Direct experience serving high-profile, highly regulated clients (Finance, Energy, Government, or Defense sectors strongly preferred).
- Deep experience with complex workflow, process automation, or operational excellence initiatives in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to engage and build credibility with executives and gatekeepers at large enterprises.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate regulatory or operational challenges into compelling solution strategies.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment typical of a high-growth SaaS company.
- Workflow or process automation experience is highly desired.
- Willingness and ability to travel 1–3 times per month.
Preferred
- Familiarity with visual/low-code workflow platforms or similar enterprise software.
- Track record of developing reusable solution assets or accelerators to shorten sales or delivery cycles.
- Experience identifying and capitalizing on regulatory-driven opportunities (e.g., new standards or compliance mandates).
What We Offer
- Direct line of collaboration with the CEO and meaningful influence on strategy.
- Opportunity to shape a critical function in a profitable, growing SaaS company serving global leaders.
- Base of $130K–$160K with total earning potential of $180K–$230K+ through performance-based commission. Benefits and equity participation for exceptional candidates.
- Upscale work environment, a high-commitment team with excellent morale, and professional flexibility with meaningful travel to major client sites.
Years Experience: 5 - 10 years
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 Annual
Bonus/Commission: Yes
